That's how this guy has been living since
he started his career in the entertainment
business eight years ago! Freddy Figgs
was just a regular kid from New York,
who now lives bi-coastal in LA and NY
and is involved in all aspects of the
entertainment industry an entrepreneur,
socialite, special event host, MTV Casting
Producer & all around good guy. He has
spent his life cultivating a love for fashion,
hip-hop & partying in excess. Isn't that a
way to make a career out of doing what
you love? Freddy Figs has an incredible
presence in every major city in the US
and has hosted hundreds of parties in
NYC, LA, Vegas, AZ & Miami. Figs has
worked with some big cats such as
P. Diddy and Hugh Hefner while hosting
events at the Playboy Mansion, and has
partied with celebrities including
Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake,
Britney Spears, J-Lo just to name a few.
He's on his way to building an enterprise,
Figs has his hand in so many areas of
the industry, there's not much he doesn't
do.
Whether he's on the stage getting a
crowd going, working deals in the fashion
world, or casting MTV shows, Freddy Figs
is the epitome of living life to its potential!
CRASH CUTIE CRASH BAND (LA) - With the diversity in music these days mixed with
musicians trying to find a different niche, a unique
sound is a chore to find. Alternative-Pop-Rock,
that's the sound of Crash Cutie Crash. Meet Nikki,
Ashley, Rabbit, Jersey and Derrty. They're an
unsigned band (waiting to get signed if there are
any takers) who are together simply because
they love music, love living, and love performing.
Their fans on the other hand think differently
though, between the bands performances around
the Hollywood area, and the hundreds of views a
day on their myspace music page, it looks like the
fame of this band is growing way sooner than
they expected. When asked where they see
themselves in five years - they said, just to be as
happy as we are now and just doing what we love.
ANTHONY RECANATINI - Fashion Designer Urban Couture (NY)
He started out as a crazy painter
who developed his own style, a
modern creation influenced by
Jackson Pollack, a style that first
attracted me to his work, then he
added graphic design to the mix
and before you knew it, Anthony
Recanatini jumped into the fashion
world and created Urban Couture
Inc. When I say jumped, this guy
dove in head first and took the
fashion world by storm. From
t-shirts and hoodies to women's
funked out evening gowns to men's
suits, Urban Couture has become
one of the premier underground
clothing lines to hit NY and has
now made its way out to LA as well.
You'll never find simplicity in his
designs, which is what's rapidly
attracting so many fans to his
work. Not only has Urban Couture
hit numerous runways in NY and
five shows in LA since its creation,
but his work has been featured in
the Puerto Rican Parade, where
LaBruja rocked his dress on her
float and was featured in her
music video. Urban Couture
satisfies customers in every group,
any age and anyone with an open
mind for fashion. It's couture to the
fullest by hand, custom stencils,
and hand bleach fabric mixed with
a lot of hand sewing.
